David P. Petersen has been providing employee assistance services to the business community since 1978.

He has been a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) since 1987 and a member of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA). He is active in the New Jersey chapter of EAPA.

Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Evaluations

David P. Petersen is a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) providing SAP evaluations as part of the Return-To-Duty process under The Federal Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Testing Rule.

Petersen has been conducting SAP evaluations since 1996.

Petersen has maintained his credentials since 2003. He has participated as a trainer in SAP qualifying trainings since 2003. The DOT Rule has established requirements for supervisors and managers who oversee CDL and/or safety-sensitive workers.

Petersen has provided these training requirements for the transportation industry.
